Functional Capacity Evaluation
A Functional Capacity Evaluation is an integral part of the return to work process. They are performed by our licensed professional staff, with special training and skills specific to the evaluation. The evaluation is a twenty-nine (29) item test performed over two (2) days for five (5) hours each day. All of the equipment utilized is certified and calibrated for both accurate measurements and for the safety of each patient. The purpose of the test is to stress the persons’ physical abilities to the maximum in order to produce accurate documentation regarding work and activities of daily living.
